SEASONAL RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE
Hours: Opening shifts, 10-3, F/Sat/Sun with additional weekday hours in December.
We're looking for a friendly multi-tasker who thrives in customer facing roles.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Open and close the shop.
- Ensure every person who enters the shop is greeted, thanked and helped during their visit.
- Identify customer needs and make thoughtful recommendations.
- Communicate with customers via email, phone and text regarding order updates or special requests.
- Conduct sales transactions on POS, accurately ringing up and packing items with care and attention.
- Promptly and thoroughly restocking merchandise after every sale and refreshing/maintaining the sales floor throughout the day.
- Receiving and tagging new merchandise according to set procedures.
- Keeping back stock neat and organized, restocking and replenishing supplies throughout the day.
- Maintaining the storefront (organizing, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, etc).
- Unpacking and tagging new inventory.
Bonus skills
- Instagram experience - please share your social media handle
Candidates should be:
- Friendly, outgoing, and loves chatting with people. While we love introverts, we need extroverts to engage with customers and help to build and maintain client relationships.
- Reliable (can’t stress this enough!).
- Able to work confidently on your own.
- Previous retail or customer experience preferred.
Seasonal period ends 12/31. Pay is $18/hr.
