SEASONAL RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

Hours: Opening shifts, 10-3, F/Sat/Sun with additional weekday hours in December.

We're looking for a friendly multi-tasker who thrives in customer facing roles.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Open and close the shop.
  • Ensure every person who enters the shop is greeted, thanked and helped during their visit.
  • Identify customer needs and make thoughtful recommendations.
  • Communicate with customers via email, phone and text regarding order updates or special requests.
  • Conduct sales transactions on POS, accurately ringing up and packing items with care and attention.
  • Promptly and thoroughly restocking merchandise after every sale and refreshing/maintaining the sales floor throughout the day.
  • Receiving and tagging new merchandise according to set procedures.
  • Keeping back stock neat and organized, restocking and replenishing supplies throughout the day.
  • Maintaining the storefront (organizing, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, etc).
  • Unpacking and tagging new inventory.

Bonus skills

  • Instagram experience - please share your social media handle

Candidates should be:

  • Friendly, outgoing, and loves chatting with people. While we love introverts, we need extroverts to engage with customers and help to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Reliable (can’t stress this enough!). 
  • Able to work confidently on your own.
  • Previous retail or customer experience preferred.

Seasonal period ends 12/31. Pay is $18/hr.
