SEASONAL RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

Hours: Opening shifts, 10-3, F/Sat/Sun with additional weekday hours in December.

We're looking for a friendly multi-tasker who thrives in customer facing roles.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Open and close the shop.
Ensure every person who enters the shop is greeted, thanked and helped during their visit.
Identify customer needs and make thoughtful recommendations.
Communicate with customers via email, phone and text regarding order updates or special requests.
Conduct sales transactions on POS, accurately ringing up and packing items with care and attention.
Promptly and thoroughly restocking merchandise after every sale and refreshing/maintaining the sales floor throughout the day.
Receiving and tagging new merchandise according to set procedures.
Keeping back stock neat and organized, restocking and replenishing supplies throughout the day.
Maintaining the storefront (organizing, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, etc).
Unpacking and tagging new inventory.

Bonus skills

Candidates should be:

Friendly, outgoing, and loves chatting with people. While we love introverts, we need extroverts to engage with customers and help to build and maintain client relationships.
Reliable (can’t stress this enough!).
Able to work confidently on your own.
Previous retail or customer experience preferred.

Seasonal period ends 12/31. Pay is $18/hr.
