King Earl The Italian neighborhoods of Brooklyn have lots of flavor, so as a nod to our neighbors we blend the oils of Bergamot oranges which originally come from southern Italy, with smooth black tea from India, for a distinctly deep, yet mellow citrus character.

Brooklyn Breakfast We like things to be on the bold side here in Brooklyn, and like our diverse community we've got here a curated blend of black teas from India's Assam and Nilgiri region, which combine to make Brooklyn Breakfast a lush, malty and full-bodied brew with a honeyed aroma. A bit like the bold and untamed streets of Brooklyn.

WHAT'S REALLY BEHIND THE NAME I can't escape my childhood tea drinking habits. I just remembered the tea was super strong and I loved it with milk and a copious amount of english biscuits. I've gotten rid of the milk since but not the biscuits. Brooklyn Breakfast reminds me of both my childhood and when I first moved to New York in 1996 for University. Twenty four years later, this city has toughened me up as it does to all of us, before you decide to move to the west coast.

Carroll Gardens Our chamomile blend is a medley that takes its cues from an earlier era when the elegant 19th century Carroll Gardens townhouses of Brooklyn, featured home-front gardens where there grew flowers and herbs. This blend features a mellow, honey-like sweetness accented with citrus-scents.

WHAT'S REALLY BEHIND THE NAME I dated a woman on Henry Street back in the days and my walks from Henry Street to the F train Carroll Street stop wasn't complete without a nice cuppa black tea along the way. This brew reminds me of those early morning walks. *we met the old fashion way at a dive bar in the L.E.S. back when face-to-face communication was a thing.
